Learning at Leekworth

Well, Andy and JT are nicely back from their guided weekend up at Leekworth Caravan Park at which they looked after nine people who were all on different stages of their fly fishing journey - there were total beginners and Leekworth regulars among the group.

With variable and unseasonable weather up north, the nymphs reigned supreme in the morning with the ever-consistent Orange Tag accounting for most of the trout.

A more settled afternoon saw absolutely everything hatch and the fish went crazy for surface food. The Paraduster, Orange Arsed Sedge, a small JT Olive and the F Terrestrial (under the trees) did the damage.

We are going back for another blast in September. Grab your place via the Guided Flyfishing page and we will see you there!
